Question about Heating & Cooling
I am not always the brightest person but generally consider myself a bit of a trouble shooter. I cant for the life of me figure out how to open the battery compartment on the whirlpool remote dg11f1-03. Can anyone help?
On the Whirlpool DG11F1-03 (WLP) you need to first remove a screw then push the battery tab while pulling down. There is a small philips head screw on the back, it is very easy to strip so be careful. On the bottom directly below the screw there is a tab that pushes to the left. Push it and then pull the battery holder out. Replace the battery then re-insert and screw the small battery compartment screw back together.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

On the panasonic remotes the batteries are under the slide down part of your remote. Where you slide the face down to expose more buttons keep sliding it down abit more and you should find two aa batts.
If this dosent make sense or you would like me to send a link for the remote let me know.
If you have any other problems please feel free to contact me
Thankyou for using fixya
