Test the power cord for open, loose wires, bad contacts. Power switch dirty clean it. Clean contacts fuse for corrosion, and replace the new fuse with the same capacity, Tight the wires from fuse. If the problem persist, you have problem with the power supply from LCD TV. Time to go to the repair shop.

No power, no nothing

Your problem either lies with the power supply or main board. I suggest you start with the power supply. Make sure you have standby (5vdc) power with the set plugged in. I would also check for any bulged power supply caps. I would also suggest you verify that you have a 110vac outlet in good working order!

Philips 42pfl3704d/f7 No power at all

its definitely the fuse. you have to go to the phillips website and type in your model number to get the right fuse. I went thru 3 different fuses and they all blew right away. phillips website sells the right ones 5 bucks each. Get it here and it will save you trouble trust me.

If nothing happens no light or sound when you plug it in to the wall it is definitely the fuse. mine was a T8AH250VP. You have to be sure to get that exact fuse. every letter exactly like that. there are a lot of similar fuses that will blow the moment u plug it in.

Hope this helps took me a month to figure this out. I was going to buy powerbaords for no reason. fixed my 42 inch phillips for under 10 dollars. couldn't be happier. Also always run your tv threw a power ack. If you plug directly to the wall your fuse will blow frequently.

Sony KD-34XBR960 has no power; working perfect, on next start up the usual pop when powered on with remote, but failed to come on. No flashing lights, nothing. Unplugged, waited 24 hours, plugged into...

The problem is in the power supply, the most common cause is an open fuse and open capacitors, if the set is more than 10 years old consideration should given in replacing the tv especially if a professional gets involved.

Hi. I have a ASUS MT276HE 27 in monitor and I used it two months then stored it for 6 months in a dry room in the factory box. Now I need it but it does not power up... Any idea? Any fuse easy access?

Try changing the power cord. You can test it with the one that goes into your PC and see if the LED lights up on the screen. If it doesn't it means that the problem is internal and there is nothing much that can be done but to send it in for warranty/repair. Since you mentioned that you've used it for 8 months it should still be under warranty as most LCDs are covered for 3 years.

3 CUP AROMA RICE COOKER WILL NOT HEAT --ONLY 4 MONTHS OLD

1. Is the cooking pot filled with water? If there is no weight, it will not turn on.
2. Is there a pilot light? If no power, you have a unit that was probably returned by someone else.
3. The heating element/plate thermal fuse may be blown. Either replace the fuse or the whole unit.

Power problem with nintendo wii

Hi,
Lets Hope So ?
Check the main fuse in the 3 Pin plug ( if UK )
replace if blown, also check the wires are tight to the plugs pins.
Is There any light Indication On The power Pack/Brick with These ?
Could be a faulty Power Pack.
Check the leads are firmly connected, quite easy to knock a cable out, with an accidental kick or push of the console et,c.

Prosound Power AMP, no sound available

hi jacko, i had the same problem with my prosound 1000.
changed all the fuses etc with no luck.
then as a last resort, i tried wiggling and lightly tapping the internal wires on the main board then all of a sudden there was sound!
i know next to nothing about electronics but i am thinking that i may have reset some kind of power protection cut off that may have been sticking, but what do i know?.
Please, like everything else electrical, if you do try this, make sure power is off first.

hope this helps, its worth a try.
