Flowmeter Error

Before you go ahead to check the flowmeter, make sure that the water pressure is OK.
I had the same problem with mine, it is normal for that message to come up if the boiler is empty, but has to go away once the machine stops taking water or filling the coffee boiler.

The LF error code keeps appearing which is which is no water or insufficient water. However it has plenty of water. What's going on?

The part called the FLOWMETER is what it seems to defective, the flowmeter is what measures the volume and pressure of the water coming in,so with good water pressure and sufficent volume of water coming into the washer the flowmeter would need to be replaced.

To replace the flow meter, remove the screws from the back of the top and slide the top to the back and lift it off and the flowmeter will be attched to the rubber hose directly beyond the nozzle to the water inlet valve. This is what the flowmeter looks like,in the picture below. The part number for it is
W10110225 it could be purchased at your local appliance parts store or online at;

Clean light flashes 7 times on Whirlpool DU1148XTPB3 dishwasher and it won't run.

The light flashing 7 times indicates error code number 7 and E7 is a error code for the flowmeter. What the flowmeter does is measure the amount of water coming into the dishwasher. The E7 error code can be cleared aby pushing the buttons in this order

The error code will be cleared after pushing the buttons in that order...if after running the E7 error code returns the flowmeter would need to be replaced

The flowmeter is the part on the left side of the tub it is where the water enters the tub
this is what it looks likeoldtech2332_96.jpg
The part number for it is W10195536

Ghw9100lw keeps throwing code f/h help

Unplug power cord. First try to clean drain tube by removing bottom cover: uncrew two bolts on each side. clean tube and filter and pump. If it is fixed, you are done.
If problem comes back, unplug power cord as always. Remove top cover and replace water inlet valve (remember to shut off water valves both hot and cold), unplug connectors to blue switch and remove water flowmeter, blow air thru one end and then the other end to remove dirt inside white water flowmeter. If flowmeter bad, replace it.
Last thing may get bad is pressure switch which is brow color valve on the right side of machine.
Good luck

We have a machine made in 2006 or 2007. It no longer gives a short expresso. Everyday it gets longer and longer even if reostat is set on shortest cup.

The doses of the coffee is udjusted by a so called volumetric flowmeter. This part as the water pass throught it it measuring how many revolution it makes and accorting to the number of revolution which is set electronicaly the machine stop delivery coffee always at the same volume..
However because of scale or dirt the propel inside the flowmeter is stucking so the water passes throught it but it does not rotate properly this means that the water dose delivered for the coffee will be longer than the normal one and not always the same.
So I advice to descale the machine for two times once one day and another the second day. With this there is 75% to clean the flowmeter and all other water system parts.
However if the problem insist the you can open the machine by removing the top and side panels, the flowmeter is a round white plastic part of a diameter 25-30 mm and 15-20 mm thick. it have two water hoses conected to it, one in and one out and it is conected to the hose coming from vibrating water pump. You can pull out the two hose and a clip which it secure the flowmeter to the machine. Now the flowmeter is cosist from two parts the top and bottom part and they can be open by turn each part in oposite direction.
Now you are able to inspect visualy and find where is the scale or dirt, brush it out so the internal propel to rotate freely. You can brush a litle bit the two small black magents of the propel also so to give a clear and strong signal to electronic board.
If you find that the hoses or other parts have dirt or scale too you can remove it manualy by brushing it out in order to avoid the same problem soon,
Their is only 0.1% need for replacing the flowmeter.
If everything goes ok then try to descale the machine atleast once a month to avoid future problems.
Good luck.

The "F/H" indicates that either you have no water coming into the washer, or very little water.
If you have NO water coming into the wash tub after 30 seconds the error code is displayed. Check the following:
- Inlet water valve may be clogged. Clean inlet screens if necessary.
- Make sure water taps are on.
- Check inlet hoses for kinks or clogs.
If you HAVE water filling the wash tub, and after 8 minutes, 10.5 gallons of water has been detected by the flowmeter, but there has not been a detected a Pressure Switch trip, the inlet valves are turned off and the error code is displayed. Check the following:
- Make sure you don't have a siphoning problem.
- Verify Drain Pump operation.
- Verify Flowmeter operation.
- Verify the Pressure Switch hoses are intact and connected properly.

Got a h f alternate flash and then it quit

check you fill hoses first and make sure water is comeing out of each line. If the lines are good check you inlet valve is it clogged with sand if no. check your flowmeter if you have one you need to take the lid off and inline with the dispenser and the inlet vavle you will find a white peice with 2 hoses attached one on each side. that would be you flowmeter take it off and blow through should sound like a cazoo. put it back togther and turn it on if your lines are clear and you see good flow of water entering your washer replace your flowmeter.

I have went over checking the water lines and pressure and I even bought a new water inlet valve and the code fh is still coming on. I hooked it up just like the one that was in it. My washer is a...

The FH code means that the washer isn't detecting water at the flowmeter. Check the wiring from the flowmeter to the control board. There was a problem with this wiring harness jiggling loose and sometimes causing this problem. If that doesn't clear up the problem then I would consider checking the water level switch. Test it with a multimeter for continuity. A lack of continuity would indicate a faulty switch, perhaps stuck and telling the washer that the tub is already full and not allowing water flow to begin. Hope this helped and best wishes.
