2006 dodge caravan, fan blower not working on any speeds, was working and functioning on all speeds this morning...any ideas?

you possibly have a bad blower motor resistor. It is located behind the glove box. First check to see that there is power to the blower motor on the black wire at the blower motor. If there is power than ground the dark green wire at the blower motor. if the blower motor runs at full speed than the resistor is usually the problem.

you can also check for continuity between the dark green wire and the dark blue with grey wire at the resistor. Note where those two wires are in the connectors. remove the connectors from the resistor. check for continuity on the pins in the resistor where those two wires where attached. If there is no continuity than the thermo fuse has blown in the resistor and the resistor will need to be replaced.

I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

Lightning damage

Replace the parts with the original ones, a .5 ohm difference on a resistor on the video circuits will cause the unit not to work correctly.

I believe the unit has a blown fuse, but I cant locate it?

If the fuse is blown, then you can locate the fuses at the power stage of the power supply, trace the LIVE terminal on the you see a link that connect the fuse and the LIVE terminal of the power source, most of the fuse are easily detached, because they have a fuse holder, but some are resistor like in appearance, it is always solder to the panel board, which make it difficult for people to know that is a fuse, but as a technician they will know.

Hope this will help in solving the problem...

Heater fan won't work

Hope this helps, it it does please leave feedback Thank You and Good Luck

Check fuses
Check power at blower motor
if there is power try to tap the motor this may getting it going but you will need motor.
if no power
check power before resistor
if power present and it goes on/off with blower motor switch
resistor is bad
if no power to resistor check power from fuse to resistor
but most likely it will be either the fuse, resistor or the motor

My A/C blower stopped working completely. First it was the number one setting, then it progressed to number two, and so on until finally all five settings dont work. I checked fuses and they were good....

the blower motor is drawing too much amperage and has blown the resistor, start with checking voltage from the switch to the resistor then to blower motor, if the resistor is blown replace it and the blower motor

I have a Hitachi, 42 in. plasma ultravision and this morning I could not turn the tv on. No power.

check the branch circuit of your convenience outlet..the circuit breaker may have tripped..try to connect other appliance to the outlet where your TV is connected..this is to ensure there's power in it..if you are certain then that there's indeed power from the outlet you are sure that the TV is not working..check TV fuse and replace if blown..check resistance between the plug terminals after fuse replacement..if resistance is low, change voltage dependent resistor (VDR) with same is a disk type resistor that looks like a big ceramic capacitor located just after the fuse..either blue, black or red.blown fuse may be due to power surge during the night..

Blown capacitor on 4 year old ac hampton bay is

Not common, keep in mind compositor work almost like a fuse but restrict certain amount of voltage to flow through, power surge or unit overload from AC compressor kicking on and off can cause the resistor to fail; its parts of electronics working. My AC unit trip my main fuse box once in the great while, nothing surprises me when it come to electronics.

fan blower resistor. Under hood near blower motor. Follow the power that goes to blower back to resistor, there should be several wires on it. That's the most LIKELY source of your problems.
