What is the difference between a porch swing and hammock?

While a hammock can go on a porch and both are most commonly used outdoors, they are very different from a porch swing. A porch swing is a hanging bench or chair, usually for two people, that is often suspended from the roof of a porch or an outdoor pergola They are often made of wood or plastic. Hammocks are like beds made of rope or synthetic material that is hung between two posts or trees.

Hammocks are often sold in home shops, especially big ones like IKEA. They can also fbe found in garden shops or outdoor furniture shops. And they can easily be found in street markets in countries where hammocks are widely used.
Otherwise, hammocks can be easily found online. Here are a few links:

Can i set a hammock indoors?

Certainly. There are many ways to hang a hammock even without trees.
Somme hammocks include self-standing metal or wood structures that support the hammock. Otherwise it is possible to hang it from the walls or cealing. Best if at a 30 degrees angle circa.

What is the best way to lie in a hammock?

It is possible to lie across the length of it or else across the hammock's width. My favorite way to lie is diagonally. My friends and family all agree with me on this. This way there is the most room to lie and also there's adequate support from the hammock.

Fixya thinks giving people links to what they ask for is not good help. If you disagree, please give me 4 thumbs up and comment. If my reply is in any way disappointing, please rate me as you see fit. My goal is to have you leave feeling well helped.
