SOURCE: DOOR TENSION
open the dishwasher and look at the top of the chassis, where the door catch is. You'll see 2 screws with hexagonal heads, one on either side of the catch. Turning these screws will apply or reduce tension on a wire liked to a spring on either side of the door. Tension must be equal on both sides.

I have the same problem with my newly installed Miele integrated dishwasher. The door does not stay open when you are trying to load dishes. I heard that there is an adjustable internal mechanism to adjust the tension on the door. But, I am still working on solving my problem.

you should be able to remove the lower acess panel, and the tension springs are on both sides, cant really picture how to adjust tension( font or back), but there should be enough room to get a flashlight and you hands under there to make the adjustment

This is most likely the actuator for the soap door. Unplug and remove door covers to find it, and check it is not seized. Look at "wax motor" online to understand working, as they often use these (and may appear siezed - when actually ok)
Check cables are not broken and connectors not corroded.
Replace actuator if you are uncertain, and try again.
Further problems may be the contact to control it in the controller assembly or a broken cable between the two.

There are springs on both sides of the door, likely one has snapped. You can get at the spring without removing the machine, sometimes, by pulling the bottom panels...
