Question about Nikon Coolpix L110 Digital Camera
I have Nikon L110 camera. which uses 4 AA batteries. after 5 to 6 clicks get error battery exhausted. Had tried with new brand batteries but same issue observe. Kindly help what is a problem. Is problem related to camera.
It could be a bad battery charger circuit in your camera. Try charging your batteries in an external charger. Adorama.com sells an Delcon Devices external battery charger for $9.95. If that works, your problem is solved. If not, you will need to send the camera to Nikon USA for repair.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Battery EXTREMELY Exhausted
As the other person says Nimh rechargable batteries are the best....Also somewhere in the menu system you will find that you need to define which type of battery you are using, this may be the cause...Nikon UK have an excellent after care team if all else fails.

I may be able to help with the battery problem. Two suggestions:
1) With a WHITE eraser (preferably at the end of a pencil) rub the metal tabs in the camera that makes contact with the batteries. They may be slightly corroded. DON'T use a pink eraser. A fine sandpaper will also work, but is more difficult to work with inside a small space.
2) The metal tabs may be pushed in too far. You may need to pry them out with a small flat-head screw driver or needle nose pliers. Do so gently.

That's the bug in Nokin L100, update the firmware version from 1.0 to 1.1, this will solve the battery exhaust problem. Firmware version 1.0 has only 2 battery (Alkaline and Lethium) option where as Firmware version 1.1 has Nickle battery also. But, to update the firmware you need to have EH-67 AC Adapter to give power to the camera.

SOURCE: Nikon 7600 Battery Exhausted
There is a menu item on the camera to select what kind of battery (Li-Ion, NMh, or Alkaline) is being used. I strongly recommend the use of a rechargeable cr-v3 battery in this camera. There is also a reset function for the battery indicator.
