Question about Breville Fresca BES860 2Cup Coffee Maker
Does the back have to come off or can it be pushed thru, have undone scews on back but feels fixed still thanks colin
Just had this replaced by a electronics repairer. There are two screws needed to be removed to take the top off first. One under the tamper, the other near the steam wand. Once they're out (and after removing the 6 out of the back) apparently you can take the back off to replace the water seal :)

The next time it starts to run take the lid off of the tank and gently pull up on the flush valve lever arm putting a little more pressure on the seal and if it stops the water from running then there is something impeding the seal. Check the seal seat and make sure it has no high spots or anything stuck to it. If you look at the bottom of the seal and it has just the slightest dent in it then you need to check the valve seat for debris.
