You need to disassemble case to access the cooling fan inside.
Get a replacement fan from Brother.
If desperate.,peel off the fan label and oil (using sewing machine oil) the fan spindle bush or bearings.

Disassemble Brother MFC 240C

I have a continuous rear paper jam in brother mfc 8950dw. It looks to be at the fuser in the back but I can't find out how to remove or replace the fuser.

Hello, If you are not a service tech you sould take your mfc to a service, it is not that easy to disassemble this machine.

Try with another toner cartridge, if no result you have to disassemble laser module and clean it with cloth and alcohol.

Paper jam - paper has ripped leaving a piece inside

you can disassemble your printer down to the shell almost. Take off the back and the front to get to the jam easier. Try compressed air if needed.

How to clean printer drum

Follow the steps
1. Remove the drum
2. Disassemble the drum
To disassemble the drum you'll need to remove the E-clips from the bar holding the photosensitive drum in. Do this with a smll precision screwdriver. Insert it in the space between the e-clip and the bar and twist it to push it off of the bar. Be careful not to lose these. With these removed, gently pry off the pieces underneath. If you did not get ALL the jammed sheet out, there is still a small piece of paper in there somewhere, probably covering a sensor or micro switch. Get a torch and look carefully. If you don't find anything you may need to disassemble the printer to find it
