Memory card problem on SPH-M610

I am trying to start up my media file in my phone to download information via a USB from my PC to Phone. When I try to create a Media Folder this error message appears: ''Error RM04: memory card access error. Please try again.'' Does this mean my memory card is defective?

Re: Memory card problem on SPH-M610

I had the same problem. The store where I got my phone checked another phone off the shelf and it had the same problem, and so did another one. But they gave me a 512 mb card and it works. But I still want my 64 mb card working.

Why cant i format a 4 gig memory card

have you tried to do it on your computer first? then follow the prompts when you insert it and go into your menu and settings to turn on or enable mass storage. this is where you will be able to format your card, usually.

LG Prada Phone and how to download mp3 onto it

I have posted information in 'hints and tips' regarding media files (pictures mp3s etc).  The first thing to remember when sending files to your phone is that they have to be done one at a time as the phone memory is limited.  The phone has a memory card inside it which is extra/external to the phone memory.  What is confusing is that you cannot send files directly to this memory card so each file you send to the phone has to be moved to the 'external memory' before you send another to the phone.
