Hi,
check fllowing -
Door switch
If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch.

Thermal fuse
On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse (a heat-sensitive fuse that blows if the dryer overheats) mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse is about an inch long. It's usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing.

If the fuse has blown, it has no continuity. When this happens, your dryer either just stops heating, or it doesn't work at all. Be sure to inspect the venting/heating system before replacing the fuse to put the dryer back into operation. (You can't re-set this type of fuse.)

Good luck.....

How to assemble belt

Hello Denise, I have seen this problem many times. The sneakers by themselves in the dryer cause a shock effect , when the weight of the sneakers tumbling onto the drum overloads the skinny belt and the belt breaks every time. Usually. if you dry the sneakers along with other clothes or towels this will not happen.

I was washing the Frigidaire microwave today, and now the buttons do not work. I see the time, and the light turns on; I unplugged the microwave and plugged it back again, and the buttons still do not...

Some moisture has probably made its way into the touch pad. You might try heating it a little with a blow dryer on low heat to try and dry up the moisture inside the touch pad or just unplug it for a day or so and see if it will dry up on its own. If it does not start working the touch pad would need to be replaced. Hope that helps.

Takes long to dry

Hello,

The reason the dryer takes longer to dry is due to inadequate air-flow.

Very common problem. You need to call a
duct cleaning company and tell them to clean
your dryer vent. Rule-of-thumb: dryer vents
should be cleaned every couple of years to
prevent them from being clogged with lint and
causing lint fires. This is definitely your problem.
Good luck :)

p.s. one way to verify a clogged vent is
to go outside where the vent exits the house
and feel the air-flow. should have adequate air-flow.
