The adjustment is going to be located on the ice maker its self, on the big white part. It's more than likely going to be concealed by a plastic tab. Keep in mind that the water valve could be sticking to. Adjusting the water fill amount could result in no ice or a flooded fridge. Keep that in mind
You have a solenoid switch which switches the dispenser back
and forth from crushed to cube. It could be stuck or not working or the parts
connecting it could be disconnected or broken. You will have to observe to see
if any parts are moving and if any noise is coming from the solenoid. With your model number I can find a diagram which may help.
Pour about 2/3 cup of water into ice maker . If it dumps the cubes , but doesn't refill with water , replace the water valve . If it doesn't dump the cubes , replace the ice maker , after making sure the coils under the front of refrig , are clean of dust , lint , pet hair , etc .

two common problems are the spring comes off the feeler arm or the ice cubes jam on the sweeper the plastic arm with fingers on the edge of the ice maker
sounds like the inlet part on the ice maker is froze over or not lined up in the opening of it right or a possibilty that the ice maker is leaking out the water if that is the case the ice maker needs replaced
I have a GE TFX25ppbaaa refrigerator. The ice maker corkscrew motor would run and provide crushed ice only. The corkscrew motor would not run when the switch was moved to the cubed ice ( half moon) setting.
I replaced the large Light/ water/ crushed ice/cubed ice switch , ( product service number GEH WR55X129 ) ( part number GE 162D6372 PO17 )and it fixed the problem. Cost was about $43.00.
Colenoid in the ice dispenser may be clogged or have a small amount of trash in it. Is there a filter on before the fridge (just after the ice maker shutoff)?
