Question about Canon MP49D Calculator
My Canon MP49D has an "E" on the display screen and the keyboard is locked. I have tried pressing the reset button but nothing happens. HELP???

If this occurs, the signal is not output from the CCD normally in Shooting Mode, which may cause a distorted image or the absence of an image. This malfunction can be confirmed on the LCD monitor screen during shooting. The same malfunction also appears on the recorded image. Canon's Response: Effective immediately, and regardless of warranty status, Canon will repair, free of charge, the products listed above exhibiting the above-mentioned malfunction if Canon determines that the malfunction is caused by the CCD image sensor. Take a picture and download it to your computer. If the picture also shows up as black then your camera probably has a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

sounds like it's not seated properly. That can happen when it's pressed in unevenly. Try to seat it straight on, with the printer on a shelf or table, at almost eye level.

First of all, the live view mode will work only in creative zones, that is from mode P. P, Tv, Av, M modes. Put the camera into one of these modes and push the Set button that is located behind the camera, amidst the four direction buttons, and you're live! Also note that to autofocus here, you should use the zoom minus button, a button with a star beside it.
