Question about Denon AVR-4800 Receiver
Just purchased system today. Hooked it up and ran the speaker test on all 5 speakers including the sub. All speakers tested fine. When I plugged my tv into the input of the receiver, only one speaker and the sub projects sound. The other speakers don't project any sound at all. Any ideas?
My Denon 487 has no sound on all settings, including tuner.

If your tv is putting out mono you will only get the center and sub speakers. This can be because the tv is only mono, or the output is set to mono in a menu of the tv. If you have cable or sat run the digital audio out to you receiver; it usually sound better that way anyhow. Set your receiver to Dolby mode for best sound.
