Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Looking for a manual for

The manual is available here: http://media.tanco.ie/media/manuals/manuals/500-550-580/Old%20Machines/450s.550s%20&%20550a.%20%201996.pdf . Another copy is here: http://media.tanco.ie/media/manuals/manuals/500-550-580/Old%20Machines/450s%20&%20550S.%201995.pdf . The second version was easier for me to read; however I didn't check all of the diagrams for clarity.

I hope this helps.

Need to change a bulb

If we had your full model number, we could help you more precisely.

The first step is to unplug the oven before changing bulbs!

See a diagram which helps you find & replace many GE cooktop and cavity light bulbs http://031d26d.namesecurehost.com/mwd/ge_lamp_replacement.jpg

If there's no obvious removable cover over the bulb (most often on the rear or side) and the owner's manual doesn't address it, then disassembly will be required.

You'll need to remove the outer cover (wrapper) to get to the bulb.
Always unplug a microwave before removing or installing any bulbs.

If it's an over the range type, remove the vent grille across the top and see if bulbs can be accessed there. There may be a panel on the bottom covering the light(s), instead.

If not, chances are you'll have to remove it from the wall, then remove the outer cover. If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

If you don't have your instructions, please reply back with your brand and model number.

Once it's out of the wall, the outer cover (wrapper) will need to be removed, just as you'll need to do on a counter top model.

On a counter top model, be sure it's unplugged, but otherwise ignore the instructions above this paragraph.

The screws you need to remove should be pretty obvious, but a special driver (such as a T20H type or GTXH20-100) may be needed.

Be sure to put all the screws back in the right holes, since some may be special grounding screws.

Bulbs (or 20A ceramic fuses) can be had locally in most grocery stores, hardware stores, home improvement centers, and big box or department stores.

Many models use halogen lamps. You must not touch halogen types with your bare skin, as the oils will shorten the bulb life.

Interior bulb out in microwave oven (built -in)

It all depends on that all-important model number. So without that, we can only give a broad, generic answer.

How do one enter to Service Mode level 3 of Canon irc3200

That level 3 mode is only for Canon engineers. What counter are you looking to reset? The counters for most maintenance items are reset in service mode level 1. The total counter for the machine cannot be reset without replacing the main controller pcb & the counter pcb.

Counter wont reset after installing new imaging unit

One of the main chips has stoped working on the engine control board. So it does not blow up the fuse inside the Image unit and therefore can't reset the counter. Try changing the engine control board. part number is .. 116-1538-00
