I see your question is labeled under Frigidaire refrigerator, FGHB2844LF, and you are having difficulty engaging the water filter. Based off that model you should be able to push on the face of the water filter and slide the old cartridge out. First, to install the new cartridge you would need to remove the caps off of it. Secondly, using the alignment guide slide the new filter into the housing until it stops against the snap-in connector. Thirdly, push firmly until you hear the click which indicates that your filter has been engaged. Lastly press a glass against the water dispenser to verify no leaks are present at the filter housing. The filter for the french door refrigerator is probably behind the vegetable drawer, if you do not see it in the upper right hand corner of the refrigerator compartment. Remove the veggie drawer and turn off the water coming into the refrigerator. Rotate the old filter to the unlocked position and remove it. Then take off the protective cap from the new cartridge and insert it into the refrigerator. Rotate it to the locked position. (Rotate the filter to position the label before you insert the filter. Then the filter goes in correctly.) Reinsert the vegetable drawer and close the doors. Then turn the water back on and fill several glasses with water to clean the filter. Pour that water down the drain at your sink.

You need a new regulator. get the manufacturer and make and numumbers and look it up and save hundreds putting it in yourself.

Tried to find the code "CO" in service manual but to no avail and please furnish the proper model number as none you list appeal. You stated that the unit sat for 5 months so I am wondering if your unit has developed a restriction in the capillary tube as this unit uses R 134A which has this problem.

The metal filters can be cleaned with ANY good degreaser. The carbon filters need to be replaced. Parts are available from the manufacturer or an appliance repair shop that handles your brand.

My Baumatic Rangehood model BAISL92.2 had the letter A flashing. I was advised by a repairman that it indicated the filters needed to be cleaned with warm soapy water. Apparently in my particular model there is a built in 30 hour timer for when the filters need to be cleaned. To remove the flashing letter A, I was advised to clean the filters, turn off the rangehood and while it was off, press the (-) (minus) button and hold for 5 seconds. It beeped and the flashing letter A was removed. This worked for my particular model - I couldn't guarantee it would be the solution for your model. I hope this is some help.

I have worked in a lot of kitchens and don't really have a preferance. The top mounted compressor is better for you as it is easier to service and leaves more cabinet room. Dirt and dust also stay near the floor. YOu won't have to clean the filter as often up high The disadvantage to this in a kitchen is that kitchens are hot and up high is hotter still. Order a cheaper model. No glass doors, no stainless steel. You don't need these features.

Behind the grille on the bottom is a drain pan. May have a crack in it.
