Download it from www.fitness.manualsonline.com or from reebook
However you must adjust THE REED switch, see the diagram , clean it, test for open or faulty, and tight , clean the connector very well.

How do you winterize Model GE20P06SAG? There is no drain at the very bottom...?

Thank you for including model number for EZ identification of water heater
To drain tank without drain valve: Remove TP valve at top of tank and siphon out the water. Then reinstall with correct pipe configuration shown in product manual.

Product manual shows drain valve is not supplied with this unit.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/GE20P06SAG-under-counter.pdf

Product manual shows the Installer should add both shut off valve and drain valve on cold water inlet line.

It appears my F6 monitor is not keeping accurant time on calories and heart rate. I like the watch but while checking my sitting heart rate is very low. When checking the heart rate on a blood pressure...

First you need to understand that the Polar system is a medical grade device and it is calculating calories based on specific information that you have inputed and heart rate data from your heart.

Most treadmills and other exercise machines use a much simpler counter that is height and weight based to calculate calories and are generally over generous with their numbers.

Depending on the blood pressure machine you are using, the pulse (not heart rate) is coming through the brachial artery, again not quite as accurate as measuring r-r variance from your heart. There is a ton of literature you can read if you are into the accurateness of the system, but I will sum up with saying that you actual calorie expenditure will be closer on the Polar than on most other devices outside of a hospital. As too the heart rate this is also true, so more likely you are getting inaccurate numbers from the other devices.

If you want pinpoint accuracy then you will need to use the Polar RS800 or S810 devices that measure and display true R-R.

  • Attach the unit correctly and walk 100 steps. If the reading is 105 steps or more, slide the Motion sensitivity switch to the left. If the reading is 95 steps or less, slide the motion sensitivity switch to the right.

  • How to wear your pedometer:
  • Your pedometer clips easily and snugly to either side of the hip portion of your pants or shorts. For best results, keep the unit in line with the crease line of your pants.
  • The pedometer must be directly perpendicular to the ground. The pedometer needs to be at a 60 degree angle to the ground. Dragging your feet, walking with sandals or uneven footsteps in a crowded area can affect the accuracy.
  • The pedometer only works when walking, jogging, or walking up/down stairs.

  • How to use the panic alarm:
  • Pull out the panic alarm pin S7 (Panic Alarm) from the unit to trigger the alarm.
  • Press and hold S1 (RES) to stop sound temporarily.

  • Battery replacement:

  • Open the battery door by unscrewing the secure screw.
  • Flip out the exhausted battery and replace with two new *CR2016 (3V) batteries. Make sure the polarity is correct. Close battery door and fasten the screws.

I don't knowhow to get the electronic calories counter to begin registering once I begin exercising

Have you tried the unit manual operation? The calorie and time feature should work without you plugging in age or weight. Now if the time is working .but calories fail then you have a upper console problem, if both are not registering most likely then it is a sensor problem. Not knowing what type of unit you have can't exactly to pin point components. But this a good starting point. Good Luck!

How accurate are the calorie counters on treadmills and cardio equipment?

Here's what the Sole exercise equipment makers say about calorie counters on exercise equipment. it's from their E-95 users manual: "Calorie readings on every piece of exercise equipment, whether it is in a gym or at home, are not accurate and tend to vary widely. They are meant only as a guide to monitor your progress from workout to workout. The only way to measure your calorie burn accurately is in a clinical setting connected to a host of machines. This is because every person is different and burns calories at a different rate. Some good news is that you will continue to burn calories at an accelerated rate for at least an hour after you have finished exercising!"
