Question about Computers & Internet
I turned the microphone off in my Nikon d5100 without any problem but now that I want to turn it back on again there doesn't see to be the option to do so. When I click on the arrow it says Microphone Off....OK and that's about all it says..
Use the utility system restore go to control, and use the last date that you know was working good and fix it.
God bless you

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

You may need to raise the level by going back into Control Panel -> Sound. From there, click the Recording tab -> right-click Microphone and select Properties. Finally, click the Levels tab and raise the level.
I had to do this on mine, too.
Hope this helps.

Checked on the Latitude D410 and it does not have a internal microphone ... the microphone connector is located on the right side of the laptop near the back ... you will need to purchase a separate mic to get this functionality ... these are fairly cheap to purchase
