Try resetting the device to factory settings and purchasing a new charging cable.

Sounds like you need to take it apart and replace the battery. Here is a site that carries a good replacement battery for the spykee robot: Replacement Battery for Spykee Robot

How long does it take to charge

Usually overnight, and keep it plugged into the charger whenever you can. Don't worry about advice that says you should drain your battery once in awhile. That hasn't been true for over 10 years; batteries and chargers have changed since then.

Draining your battery will actually shorten it's life. All modern chargers shut off completely when the battery is fully charged, therefore no power is wasted by leaving it plugged in. There is no additional fire hazard from doing this either, which is extremely rare in all cases.

Not charging

The battery is not working as it should. Either, replace the whole lot under warranty or leave the battery on charge until it will accept a charge.

My battery wont charge but it says its charging. When I unplug the cord 3 times itll go up by 1%

Have you tried replacing the battery? It sounds like the charger circuit is attempting to charge the battery and the battery is not accepting the charge.

Message says charging stopped as phone too hot or cold. does it just need a new battery or is it something worse?

Hi, it is the battery cell that causes it to show charging stop or the charger.

So first change the battery and see how it works before changing the charger..

Take care.

BATTERY KEEPS ON GOING DEAD AFTER IT SITS A WEEK HAVE A DRAIN FROM VAIROUS CIRCUITS ATC

the best way to test this is to take off the battery and let it stand for a time if the battery still gos flat its the battery its self,, if its good after a week or so use an avo meeter to find out how much of a leak you have got, if its only say about 100ma's or so its the alarm draining the battery any more than this look at the alternator this could be were the leak is draining back all cars leak a small amount of curent from the battery if left standing my 4x4 would have a flat battery in a month if i left it stood
the way to get around this is to get a 12 volt solar charger the bigest one you can get your hands on say at least 2.5 watt's there about £20
it only needs day light to charge the battery up but full sun light it better
plug it into the cigarette lighter socket and that will keep the battery charged up when you leave the moter standing around unused byt do take it off before you start the engine up or your going to cook the charger up,,my 4x4 never ever had a flat battery after i fitted a solar charger it was the best £20 i ever spent,, its now keeping my motor bike battery charged up!!!!!!!!

My camcorder doesnt charge up properly, ive purchased a new batteery and charges a bit but doesnt charge to full, light keeps flashing to say somethings wrong. I put it on the pc and it seems to charge.

Is the charging of the battery part of the camera or is it a separate charger? Meaning you remove the battery from the camera and install it into the charger to charge. Of course, if the charge is not full when both batteries have been on the charger, then the charger is at fault. Also, considering that you have also put a new battery on the same charger and the problem is still the same, then the charger is (again) at fault. You can try and send the charger to the retailer for inspection or, better still, take the whole camera and get it checked. Bad batteries or charger can cause more trouble to both the batteries or the camera.

No problem, just ?

No issue. The charger is adapted to the battery. You can leave the battery over night in the charger without problem. The fact that the light goes off means that the charger surveys the voltage and switches off when the battery is charged.

If you leave it longer and the battery looses charge, it will be recharged automatically.

Cheers
