How do I find out where to check for fuel pump pressures for a Toyota truck ?

if it is a common rail model the pressure will be in excess of 25.000 psi
Best have an accredited diesel specialist shop check it out as pressures that high require special gauges and a lot of knowledge of the handling risks

Where is the lower pressure valve

low presure AC port could be under the front wing like a ford focus on the drier canister but some renaults do not have one they only have one filler point with a large valve so you think it only has a high pressure port but in reality its the low pressure with the big valve so you swop the pipes around the AC machine ,look to see if this pipe is going to the low pressure side of the pump its a thicker pipe is the clue .

Low oil pressure after heads replaced

Was the oil changed? Has the low pressure been verified with a mechanical test gauge at the oil pressure sending unit pressure port? Do that 1st before assuming the pressure is low.

Coolant leaks from my ford escape I have had it pressure tested and fitted a new cap When parked leaves a puddle of coolant

Always find the source first, The rear water ports are directly behind the rear lower intake bolts and the front ports are directly in front of the front bolts. The rear ports are cast into the lower intake manifold and are dead ends, air can get trapped in that area. In cold weather your thermostat may open slower, resulting in a pressure build up at the rear ports. Any trapped air will compress. Normal coolant system pressure occurs when the glycol is operating temperature. I would try refilling the system and getting the air out,the leak may only occur when the system is full. With a cold engine, open the radiator cap and add 50/50 mix, fill the resevoir to the low mark. Run the engine with the radiator cap off until the thermostat opens, the upper hose will be hot when the stat opens. Turn the car off and refill the radiator to the top. Sqeeze the upper hose to remove any air. fill if necessary. replace cap, run car again until it reaches operating temp. Now with a full system check for leaks. When replacing lost coolant should also have the heat at max temp. Get a good mirror to check for leaks. The outter mating surface of the rear water jacket gasket is flush with the block and the edge of the lower manifold, sometimes you can see where it blew out.

Location of the lower pressure hose for ac of a 2003 oldsmobile silhouette. Trying to install coolant bought from Wal-Mart.

One cap is labeled "H" (for high pressure) and the other is labeled "L" for low. As a further safety measure, the ports are different sizes so you physically cannot attach the pressure gauge or hose to the wrong port! It's pretty failsafe. follow a/c hoses back from pump and you will find it, its cap is marked " L ". ( low side ). have a good day !!

Master 250,000 btu heater. Not pumping kero to the igniter port. Possibly lost its prime at the filter? Gasket at the filter assy. is curled, not flat. Filter assy is tight but no fuel coming out of...

First check the fuel filter. Remove the small panel on the left if you are standing behind the heater. Next check the fuel nozzle, it may be clogged. If you hold it up to a light, you should be able to see light through it. If these 2 things are good, you need to check the air pressure. On the back of the fan motor there is a black box with 2 ports. One for adjusting the air pressure, one for connecting a pressure guage. The pressure should be 5.1 #. You can adjust the pressure by turning the plug with the small hole in it in or out to raise or lower pressure. If this doesn't get you going let me know and I will give you a couple of other things to check and if it does please rate my answer and give a testimonial if you will.

NEED TO FIND LOWER PORT FOR RECHARGING AC

I have a 2002 Impala 3.8L
There is one port between the air filter box and strut tower (driver's side). I'm pretty sure that's the low pressure port.
The high port is against the firewall behind the engine, about in the middle.
The ports are covered by black caps.

Code p 0470 ford aspire how do i fix this ?

p 0470 is "EGR boost sensor" failure. replacement of the sensor without further diagnosis will most likley end with the check engine light still burning brightly. pull the egr valve off of the intake. the bottom port is exhaust pressure. the top runs through the lower and upper intake to just behind the throttle body. chances are the port through the intake is completely plugged with carbon. split the upper and lower intake and clean the egr passages. a good carb and choke cleaner and a stiff wire will break up most of the carbon.

Pressure setting of series 90 pumps

Yes 90 series pumps will run pretty close to 6000 psi. there are cross port reliefs built into the endcap of the pump and usually a POR valve as well. so the POR should be set at 3000, the cross ports in the pump should be set higher than this. There may also be a "transmission block" which is a seperate block with hot oil shuttle and cross port reliefs. Make sure these reliefs are also set higher than the POR valve in the pump. There may also be cross port reliefs in the motor. These too must be set higher than the POR valve in the pump. If you system overheats after increasing the pressure setting of the POR valve, you are probably loosing oil across one of the cross port relief valves.
Please visit http://hansonhydraulics.blogspot.com for more information. I** If am electric motor is being used to drive this pump, be sure you have sufficient horse power for this increased load. **
