Why does my fridge have water on base inside?

Check the door seal for a snug fit all around. Water inside is usually contact with warm outside air. Or you have something inside generating water vapour.

Check the door switch. Alot of the time when the freezer door stays open it creates condensation and than when you close the door is can freeze the door switch closed so the switch thinks that the door is always closed. If you need further assistance or this does not cure your problem please reply.

Excess frost and condensation

Could be that it is not getting a good seal when the door is shut. Check for obstructions causing that and check the door seal to see if it needs to be replaced.

My refrig. quit getting cold but the light works and so does the freezer area

Sounds as if a condenser fan has gone bad. Most models it is located in the top freezer section. The frig section gets it cold air from the fan.

Outside of fridge door turns brown in color with high humidity

Check your door seals or for cracks in plastic shelves. Sounds like condensation getting to metal causing rust.

My GE refrigerator collects water under the crisper and then spills onto the floor..What is the solution?

This is a common problem when the defrost condensate drain becomes blocked. Below is a link that tell more about what is happening. Sea Breeze
- This is when it leaks into the fresh food section.

Condensation on the outside freezer area

condensation occurs on a surface which is colder than its surroundings.

The worst thing is the insulaion in the cabinet is water/ice logged. This would require removing the insulation and refoaming the cabinet.

You may be able to feel if the surface is cold.

I have seen a frig with voids in the insulation cause this problem- same cure- refoam.

Okay, the heat you're feeling is normal. That's the door heaters doing their job. Without them, you'd have condensation building up in those areas and water all over the floor. Unless you can smell something cooking from those or, they stop working, they'll be okay. Most likely it has something to do with the humming which I will address now.
The condenser is probably plugged with dirt. This will cause the compressor to work harder and make that humming noise. Because it can't remove the heat as well (from being plugged), the cabinet is heating up in those areas you mention beyond their normal temperature.
Clean that condenser and see if that helps. It must be free of all obstructions to work properly.
Worst case scenario. If the condenser is clean, the compressor might have gone bad.

Delfield Refrigerator/Freezer Condensation forming outside door seals

I would expect at the very least a heater circuit around the freezer door. Some of the commercial units also have sprung doors to keep the doors firmly shut which you could check by opening the doors. Door heater circuits are normally very reliable and it would be worth checking the voltage is getting to them, they are also a pain to change out. Hope this helps.
