My concept ll fan stays and and then shuts off frequently, what can I do to fix the problem

It goes on and off,the whole unit frequently . I changed the bulb and did not touch the glass bulb. It will not work for a few minutes.then it comes back on. Could it be a defective wall switch?

SOURCE: concept II

Depending on what year the fan was made try looking very close at the actual body of the fan. you may find a small switch you can manually use to reverse the direction of the blades.. I may have some used working remotes that will work with your fan if you like please feel free to contact me at payitforwardx2 @ gmail . com .

SOURCE: minka aire concept II ceiling fan bulb replacement

The glass dome is tightened firmly in the factory, so removal is difficult. When removal is attempted to, the metal housing to which the dome is attached will spin with it, making removal impossible. To see what I'm talking about, look in the small space between the dome and the bottom of the blade housing - it looks like a metal flange, but this is only the bottom of the reflective metal canister that holds the light. Note that there are 4 "dimples" around the circumference of this housing, facing inward. These dimples are what hold the glass dome in place. The trick is to use a rigid piece of wood or metal about the size of a 12" ruler and place the corner of that ruler in one of those dimples - FIRMLY. Then, a second person can get some leverage on the glass dome and "unscrew" it from the housing (counter-clockwise). The purpose of holding the ruler-sized material against the dimple is to keep the housing from spinning with the dome. This is easier said than done, but it will work.

How do i fix ac blower on heat stays on after unit goes off what is the problem

If the unit shuts off after a few minutes when the heat shuts that is normal. If it never shuts off; you may have a bad fan relay in the air handler.

I HAVE A PLAYSTATION 3 AND EVERY TIME I TURN IT ON THE FAN COMES ON AND THEN IT SHUTS RIGHT BACK OFF

Does the whole PS3 shut off or just the fan? If the whole machine shuts off its the yellow light of death. I can walk you through how to fix it. If the machine stays on then on any PS3 system when first turned on the heat-sink fan will run high and make a sound to where you can hear it but then the rpm's go down and is quiet. If you know for a fact the fan completely shuts off then you needs to get a replacement fan.

Panasonic air conditioning model no cu-v9ckp5 inside unit switches on but no fan operation outside unit starts then after approx 1 min whole thing shuts down again

The outside unit has a fan capacitor and it must be faulty!!! thae capacitor tells the fan to rotate and if the fan does not work then the compressor will shut down due to a high head pressure and temperture!! change the capacitor located in the electrical section of the outside unit and it should work fine...

Starts to power on,then shuts down

Have you checked the filters? I have a Sanyo PLV-75 and had a similar problem.  The normal fan would come on when the unit was first started, then after a few seconds the secondary fan came on and then the unit would shut down.  Called tech support and they asked if I had cleaned the filters. I did it, and it worked great.  Check the manual for where the filters are and hit them first before getting a new bulb.  Hope it helps!

Laptop Going off by itself

It has to be the CPU fan. The system board monitors the temperature and if the fan is not working, the temp goes up and the unit shuts down. It may take seconds to heat up or minutes. It is a safety feature. In any case, do not continue using it like that, because it can damage the system board and/or the processor.
If the unit is new, have them fix or repair it.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Kenmore 665 68610891- built-in 1998 model

Fan relay on circuit board stuck. Give it a tap (the relay), to free it up. Otherwise get the relay or driver transistor replaced. Easy fix. Take it to an electronic repair place, not the brand agent.(They,ll just replace the whole board). If this Item is under warranty you should not be wasting my time.:::Spiceweasel.au

CARRIER HEATER FAN WONT TURN OFF. PLEASE HELP

Need more information.... Is this a whole house unit, a window unit or what? Model #?

The breaker would be in your basement or wherever your breaker box is. If it's a 220 unit, one side could be kicked if whoever hooked it up used 2 seperate breakers (very unusual but it's been done).

Good luck!
