Shop Vac lid will not securely latch. 1

Are you sure that the filter is pushed all the way to the bottom of the container? Just take it out and put it back and make sure the filter retainer is gently turned all the way.

Why won't the door latch extend fully anymore? It extended fully for a few days after being installed.

Why does the interior knob or lever on my front entry handleset sometimes cause the latch mechanism to jam and the exterior thumb press to lock in place? If the front entry handleset is newly installed, the latch mechanism may be binding. If the exterior handleset is left sitting in the bottom of the bore hole through the door, the rectangular spindle that extends through the latch may be somewhat tilted and binding. This can be checked by loosening all screws, slightly lifting the exterior handle, and then tightening the screws before releasing the handle. This may make the spindle more level with the latch and eliminate the binding. If this does not resolve the problem, or the handleset has been installed for some time before the problem occurs, the latch mechanism may be failing and need to be replaced.

The soap despenser doesnt pop open during a wash cycle the spring on the lid is ok and the latch spring seams ok we have tried running the hot water in the sink first so that water in the dishwasher is hot...

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

It will not open on a regular cycle,or normal wash, it will only open on heavy or pot scrubber..
if you are using the heavy setting, and its not working, you have a latch relay problem.
i suggest you contact a service company

Toshiba Satallite Wont start up

Gently remove and clean (with a pencil eraser) and reinstall your memory, then try again.

For you non-techies, it is very easy to hose a perfectly good laptop by NOT fully releasing the side-latches (some metal, some plastic) BEFORE gently lifting the RAM up 1/4", away from the pin/contact seating area, and OUT of the sockets. Actually, if you do it right and do not physically touch the face, sides or corners of the RAM when you use your Left and Right thumbnails to 'tease' the latches away from the sides of the RAM, it will POP out all by itself. smile1.gif
Now... putting new RAM in is REALLY easy and does not require any force or pressure at all. Look at the socket and the RAM and orient your RAM so the slot in it (the RAM) and the raised portion of plastic in the contact seating area line up. If it is OBVIOUSLY not, flip the RAM over and check again. If it still will not, or can not line up... it is the wrong type RAM for your machine. Take it back. Do not try to 'make it fit' ;-)

Once you have RAM oriented so it WILL slot in, take the RAM between your index fingers and thumbs so the contacts are facing AWAY from you and hold firmly by putting the tips of your fingers into the holes on the sides of the RAM, ease the RAM into the socket and seating area, wiggle a bit side to side and seat in snugly, then maintaining the hold with your 2 Thumbs, tease the latches away from the socket edges with your fingernails (under the edges of the new RAM) so they both clear the sides of that RAM, then gently press down a bit further with your thumbs until the RAM face is below the latches and finally release the latches making sure BOTH are now above the RAM face. Done.

Don't FORCE... EVER ;-)

Hope that helps

How do you fold the Exersaucer Smart Steps?

Onthe bottom of the legs, there is a thumb latch, press that all the way down into the hold it is in. do this on all three legs.
Then once that is done turn the whole thing to the left, it should fold in two, on the sides, there are three latchs that go into the hole next to the small legs, those latches secure it in place..... The thumb laches can be hard just so you know

To unfold, simply press on the holding latches, and pull up
