What type of oil do i add to the gas for a ry30240 weedeater?

Any type of 2-cycle engine oil will work fine. Just make sure it is 2-CYCLE engine oil, and not motor oil! Also, mix it at a ratio of about 1 part oil, to 40 parts Gas. Hint: The Ryobi equipment seems to like the 87 octane better than the low grade fuel, especially in high temps! Good luck!

I have 2001 V6 Mustang. I was keep putting 87 octan gas but just recently I changed ontan gas from 87 to 91. Is it going to hurt? I shouldn t change it?

No it will not hurt and there is no reason to switch to a higher octane gasoline with this engine. Certain engines in Corvette, Cadillac, etc with special combustion chambers utilizing different types of metal for performance need higher octane gasoline. Your v6 does not. If you hear knocking, have your valves checked and make sure you oil pressure is good. If you switched for no reason, switch back and save yourself $$$

What type of oil is recomended by the manufacturer for a 1991 pontiac firebird with a 3.1 V6 with over 200,000 miles in it? Also what type of fuel is best for the vehicle 87, 89, or 93 gas. Thanks

GM will not make a recommendation for a car with 200,000 miles-when new, it probably called for 10w30, and if it does not smoke you could stay with that. If it does smoke, you might consider going to a heavier weight like 15W-40 or 20W-50, but be careful if you live in a cold climate-20W-50 especially.

For gas, if it does not knock, use 87, using higher octane will only waste money.

What kind of gas should i put in mu 2003 jag s type?

Unless your owner's manual or the dash board by the gas gauge says High test only, I'm sure reg 87 octane will be fine. Most cars are made to run on 85 octane or lower, so when you but the cheap stuff, 87, it is like high test to the engine. But, if it knocks, pings, stammers at all, then it needs higher octane. So, i would run a tank of low test, then high test , and see if there is a noticeable difference, especially in take off. If you suspect a dirty injector or throttle body, don't be afraid to dump in a can of gas treatment, it works great, STP or some other brand. It will clean a lot of stuff in there. Hope this helps.

What type of gas should I put in my 1998 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series? 87, 89, or 93?

Any regular gas is ok for your type of car. But I suggested once a while when you top up the gas for your car, it is better to top a higher grade gas. Because higher grade gas will have better gas combustion and it help clean your fuel injector. You do not have to top full tank on higher grade gas. I will say maybe about five gallon should be ok.

TYPE OF FUEL

all vtechs will run well on regular gas..87.....a suggestion though from a veteran mechanic who's seen many many vehicles with fuel related problems over the yrs..stay away from arco (methane fuels) they damage internals due to high particulate damaging moisture content...and fill up once every 10 tankfuls with premium 91 octane high quality fuel(Unocal 76) to clean and blow out residual carbon etc from combustion chamber
