greatings and hello
the 1millionth post here, lacking the OS.
HP came with OS/1 , Linux, Freedos, and all versions of windows ever made. (yours, I guess 3?)
so yours is windows 95 (pnp) up. in this case, but what? what windows. (XP up to 10, Im sorry I cant guess that ever)
gee how could (super man doing xrays) the driver is for sure bad. (this tells me not using HP disks)
so learn now that drivers are a 3 way match. Your PC, your CHIP dead, and your OS.
must match. (some devices (chips are 4 ways, web cams inside)
if running XP for VISTA, are you? MS killed dead PNP online
those 2 OS are now officially DEAD>
then you say I installed a OS, and skip
from where? or what disk, and what source
what are the words on the top of the CD?????????????
from hacking sites endless and full of MALWARE?
we are blind here until you tell what you have
and what you did exactly. (history matters)

Method 1: Rename the Bth.inf file
Rename the %WINDIR%\inf\Bth.inf file to Bth.bak before you install or reinstall the third-party device or stack.
When you rename the file, you prevent Windows Plug and Play PNP from using that INF file to
install the Bluetooth driver that is included with Windows XP SP2. To rename the file, follow these steps:
Click Start, click Run, type %windir%\inf in the Open box, and then click OK.
Right-click Bth.inf, and then click Rename.
Rename Bth.inf to Bth.bak, and then press ENTER.
Install the third-party Bluetooth driver.
Method 2: Update the Bluetooth driver in Device Manager
replace the Windows XP SP2 installation of the Bluetooth stack, update
the driver in Device Manager. When you do this, specify your
third-party driver. To update the driver in Device Manager, follow
Click Start, click Run, type devmgmt.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.
Locate the device.
Right-click the device, and then click Update Driver.
the steps that appear on the screen in the Hardware Update Wizard to
specify your third-party driver for the Bluetooth device.
ok look in device manager down the list to your wireless card and see if it is listed, if so check that there is not a red cross on it, if so right click and select enable.
if a yellow exclamation mark driver not recognised with card.
If it is listed and you are unable to enable it restart the pc and press F2 or DEL to enter your bios and on the peripherals menu, see if the wireless controller(if it is built in card) is enabled.
If non of the above works, then the code 10 would normally be refering to a faulty peice of hardware.
