Hi selva,

You might have to use a External Mouse to do this.

*In run window type devmgmt.msc
*You shall see a window popping up,there you need to expand Mouse and keyboard option and Right click on the seen driver and click Uninstall.
*Restart the computer see if it works.

I have recently bought myself a Acer Aspire 5742
and mine does not have the bluetooth facility built into it
but i have a usb bluetooth dongle if ever i should need it
they are not very dear on ebay

INSERT A LONG NEEDLE IN THE SMALL HOLE NEAR THE CD TRAY AND SIMULTANEOUSLY PRESS THE EJECT BUTTON.THIS WILL PUSH THE CD TRAY OUT.

The keyboard is faulty and has electrical faults that is causing the jumbled letters.
To test the laptop is functioning correctly connect an USB keyboard to your laptop and check to see if the USB keyboard types correctly. If not then the laptop has a serious fault and possibly needs a new motherboard.
If the USB keyboard works OK the you need to replace the laptop's faulty keyboard.
You may be able to get a replacement keyboard from this WEB site.
