remove the pressure hose and turn your water supply on and water should flow thru the pump on out where the pressure hose is. If not you have a blockage in the pump.

SOURCE: how to change oil in a pressure washer

From the manual CleanShot 2050 Briggs and Stratton

Change Pump Oil
1. Drain engine oil and fuel from pressure washer
2. Use an 8 mm allen wrench to remove black pump oil cap between high pressure outlet and garden hose inlet.
3. Tiltl pressure washer to drain oil into an approved container until it drips slowly from pump.
4.Tilt pressure washer in opposite direction and empty premeasured pump oil bottle into same opening (a small funnel may be helpful) [THIS IS WHAT THE MANUAL SAYS-NOT CLEARLY WRITTEN IN MY OPINION OR WRITTEN BY SOMEONE FOR WHOM ENGLISH IS A SECOND LANGUAGE]
5. Install black pump oil cap and tighten firmly.
6. Set pressure washer in upright position. Add fuel and engine oil.

From the engine manual use synthetic 5w-30, 10w-30 from -20 degrees F to temperature of 100 degrees F.
Change oil after 5 hours of operation initially. Before tipping to drain oil, remove fuel from fuel tank by running until tank is empty. Remove oil cap and dipstick and tip engine. Keep spark plug side up. Or remove drain plug from the bottom of pressure washer with a ratchet and square extension and drain oil from bottom. (fuel does not have to be removed)

SOURCE: My Husky pressure washer 2600 psi powered by a gcv

It sounds like the (RMW 2.2 G24) pump has gone out. Mine had this problem after about 6 hours of use. I was able to order a new pump for around $160.00, and then installed it myself. Go figure it was just out of warranty. I think my next pressure washer will be one with a professional pump as I was told the one on my husky is only rated for about 40 hours of use.

SOURCE: Need to know where oil

I have the same model...... it should be just underneath the unit.... it will look like a square head recessed. I used the ratchet set extension and it fit just right. I literally had to tilt the darn thing upside down to find it. Then once it was loosen a bit, I put the machine upright on the wheels again, and slip a plastic pan underneath as I finished unscrewing the oil plug, Out came the black goo.

Gasoline-powered pressure washers use an SAE 30W motor oil (10W-30) in the engine. Always consult the engine manual for specific instructions and be careful to put the correct oil in the correct place.

Where is the oil drain plug located on a Homelite 2700 psi 2.3 GPM Honda Gas Pressure Washer?

There is drain plug, surprisingly. You basically have to tip the washer over to the side opposite of the exhaust. I like to take the wheel off first. It is much easier this way. You don't want oil to get in the exhaust Or you could get something like a turkey baster and pull it out. There isnt much oil in there so it isn't that difficult.

Pressure washer are pretty simple, a few pistons and a spring device to control the pressure. The problem could be a broken part inside the pump itself. With any luck it could be the linkage between the pump and the motor. If there is a oil window in the pump or a pump oil fill plug open this and with the engine switched off slowly pull the starter cord and see if the pump works are moving. (don't do it fast or let the engine start or there will be oil everywhere.) this will tell you if the pump is working. It could also be the diverter this wold be harder to diagnose you could go and replace the whole pump also.

Power washer stalls after spraying

Your pressure relief valve may not be working. If that happens when you shut off your spray gun, then pump is dead heading, stopping the motor. If this is the case it stops dead, not coasting. Either replace the pressure adjusting relief valve or remove it, and disassemble it and clean it.

Where do I look and what am I looking for when checking pump oil level . Honda / Husky 3200psi bought reconditioned from home store with out papers .

The pump oil reservoir and pump pistons are between the Honda engine and the business end of the pump. It rarely brass, like the pump. It may be square or tubular. Some of these units have a site tube on the side, some don't. Some have an oil drain plug (bottom) and a plug to put oil in (top). If not, you have to take the pump off. Either way, be sure to use NON-detergent oil and only fill it about 1/3 to 1/2 full.

Changing engine oil on a gx390 engine for pressure washer excel

On the very bottom of the motor is a square plug to drain the oil. The machine must be elevated to allow the oil to flow into a drain pan. If you don't see a square plug then look for a small 1/4 inch tube coming from the bottom of the crankcase with a hex cap on the end of it. If you cannot find either of these, then you must turn the pressure washer on its side and drain it through the same plug you fill from.
