Problem for ATI RADEON 9550, (256 MB) AGP Graphic Card
Ati2mtag fails, computer freezes

Well I'm using a older graphics card, ATI Mobility Radeon X700.
In the beginning I didn't notice, but after a year or so, the computer started to freeze, couldn't move cursor or anything, all I could do was reboot. Now, after approx. 3 years it freezes 2 times a mounth or more. In the eventlog it sais that ati2mtag have failed, (CPLIB :: Open session - Failed to load the library) I don't know what to do, several more skilled with computers have helped me, unsuccessfully. It only freezes when I play Tibia. Please help me with this!

- It doesn't work getting drivers from ATI or my computer provider. And yes, I only expreience it with one piece of software.Mar 29, 2009
- It's not the system requirements, they are very low on Tibia, (Tibia is 2D), I can play Counter-Strike without problems, several strategy games such as AoE, and Diablo II. Tibia has very low requirements, no RAM at all, so it can't be them.Clarification Request

Does it only freeze with one piece of software? Otherwise, not other problems with other applications?

Sounds like the best option is to see what the minimum hardware requirements are for your Tibia game. This info should be included in the software package or posted on their web site. Also check for any updates they may have that might address your issue. Chances are that if you are having problems, others are too.
