I have a 2004 xuv and the speedometer and ther gauges go whacky until I pull the fuse and reset it. I was told it was a short in the dashboard and would cost over $400 pluse labor. Anybody know a fix

$400? wow. When things get "whacky" with the guages, replace your ignition switch. NOT the switch your key goes into, it's located on the bottom of the steering column. Need to remove the plastic skirt that coveres the steering wheel column.

Isuzu 3.0 TD 2005 - Steering wheel makes squeking sound when turning steering wheel to both sides. Quiet on strait roads. Sounds like plastic rubbing when turning steering wheel. Sprayed lubricant on...

Disconnect steering column down by brake pedals and turn wheel with steering disconnected.....if squeak is still there its in the upper steering column bearings...squirt silicon spray down the top tube [below the steering wheel] until it runs out thru the tube lower bearing.
P.S dont forget to reconnect the steering!!!

I have a bicycle (Cannondale Bad Boy SOLO Ultra 2009 white edition) and I can't find a front mudguard that will fit the front lefty soli fork setup. Any suggestions?

I have a set of SKS X3's for my Jekyll with a Lefty. The front has a special large insert for the headshock-sized opening at the bottom of the steerer tube. Maybe check with a Cannondale-shop to find one.

Here's another solution at the bottom...

I need to remove my power steering pump on a 2004 concord.

So you have done all this so far?

  1. Disconnect and isolate battery negative cable from battery post.
  2. Siphon power steering fluid from pump reservoir.
  3. Remove air cleaner housing and inlet tube to throttle body.
  4. Remove serpentine drive belt.
  5. Remove hose clamp, then supply hose from pump.
  6. Unthread tube nut, then remove pressure hose from pump.
  7. Remove three pump mounting bolts through access holes in pulley.
  8. Remove pump from engine bracket.
  9. If pulley needs removal
