Question about Dell Latitude C640 Notebook

1 Answer

Replacing video card.

I was wondering if it would be feasible to replace the 32mb video card in my c640 with at 128mb one from another c640. i am proficient enough to physically do it, but just wanted to know if there would be issues.

As long as the drivers are installed and you use an anti-static strap, you should be ok. Keep note of where you remove each screw.

No memory card, do I need a card?

Your camera has 32MB of internal memory, so technically you do not need a memory card, but 32MB will not store many still images, let alone video. You really need something like this to go in it:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208293

That will give you 8192MB compared to the 32MB built in, and let you shoot a lot more video.

Good Luck!

You should be able to buy buying a Video graphics card for your specific computer. You should always check with your manufacturer to make sure that the part is compatible with the rest of the computer. You may even be able to find the part on the manufacturers website. If you do not know much about computers, especially laptops then you should always have a professional assist you that way you dont cause any other problems.

Hope this helps! FIXYA! Please leave a rating!
