Does the Central Chipper 55 hp model 95964 have a fuel pump, if not how does the fuel get to the engine

You can check if it is a fuel problem by spraying some carburetor cleaner into the intake inside the air cleaner and then trying to start the engine. If it has a gravity feed with tank above the float bowl level, check for debris in the tank, and flow through the fuel line and finally, drop the float bowl and check that the needle & seat allow fuel to flow into the bowl. If it has a carburetor mounted fuel tank (underneath) try removing the tank and inspecting the pickup screen (plastic) and the integrity of the diaphragm and gaskets. It needs to be sealed to work.

How can I make my old 5 hp Craftsman chipper-shredder Model #247.795940 run?

The pilot jet is probably clogged. Take the fuel bowl off the carburetor and look for the hole that passes from the top of the bowl into the main venturi of the carburetor. Try spraying carburetor cleaner spray into the hole; if it doesn't come out in the venturi, it's clogged. Take a really fine wire (a single wire pulled from a wire brush will usually work), and slide it up until you see it protrude into the main venturi. Once you open the orifice, spray carb cleaner throught it. The thing should run after you put it all back together.

S & S carburetor Gas leaking out of overflow tube

I own one of those, assume it's the same model. I'd go to the B&S carb page. If that doesn't help, you can contact them. https://www.briggsandstratton.com/eu/en/support/faqs/adjusting-the-carburetor

Gentron 10000w generator has a leaking carburator

Your carburetor float valve may be stuck open. You'll have to remove the carburetor, remove the sediment bowl at the bottom of the carburetor (where the float is), and check the float. Is it filled with gas? Replace the float if it is. If the float is dry inside, then remove the float and clean the needle valve & seat. (be careful to note how the float pin, linkage, spring, etc. are positioned so you properly reassemble. After cleaning & reassembling, turn the carburetor upside down & try blowing into the gas line connection on the carburetor. You shouldn't be able to blow air. Turn the carburetor right side up & repeat. If you can blow air into the carburetor's gas line connection, the float valve & seat are properly working. Reinstall the carburetor. You should be good to go.

When I have the choke fully on, the engine in my snowblower runs. When I take it off choke, it sputters and stops. The fuel line is clear and there is no fuel filter that I can find.

The mixture settings on the carburetor may be off. Cleaning the carburetor and having the mixture settings adjusted may help. The fuel delivery is not an issue since choking increases the fuel/air ratio, i.e. adds more fuel for the same amount of air. Also worth checking the seals on the intake components, since excess air could be leaking in after the carburetor.

How do you remove the carburetor on a Husqvarna 240e chainsaw?

Remove the handles, then remove four 8MM bolts from the bottom securing the engine case. The entire assembly will then rotate upward,
allowing you to remove the two 8MM nuts and carburetor.

My Tecumseh engine stopped running but was not out of gas. When I tried to start it would not and gas is coming out of the air filter. I took off the carb bowl and float seems to move ok

Your float might have a hole in it and is full of gas. You need to take it off and shake it to see if gas is in it, or float pin is faulty not closing correctly.

Starts but will not run

Try removing the brass bolt that holds the float bowl onto the carburetor. It also is the carburetor main jet and is easily clogged. Remove it and clean it till it shines. Pay close attention to the bottom hole in it and the very small holes along it's sides near the top. Use nothing metal on it to clean it. Carburetor/Choke aerosol spray works fairly well and will remove most all gum, varnish and dirt. Don't forget to drain the fuel tank before removing the carburetor float bowl.

Have a Troy-Bilt Chipper/Vac model # 47282 5hp sp, the Carburator needs to be replaced, I cannot find a part # for it, or where one can be purchased, please help

I believe the carburetor part number for your model is 632631. I have the same TroyBilt chipper/Vac. It has a Tecumseh H50-65582W engine. A good parts diagram can be found at
http://www.outdoordistributors.com/pdf/Tecumseh/TECUMSEH-MODEL-H50-65582W-PARTS-LIST.pdf
If this is the right part, you can buy it at Jacks Small Engine parts for $79
Good Luck!
