D130 won't start, pto engagement lever switch

I need to adjust the PTO engagement lever so it pushes the safety switch. It is going under the switch and not closing it so the mower will not start. I cannot figure how to move the lever up to the proper position.

SOURCE: PTO CONTROLS. How do you engage and disengage PTO.

The tractor is not a 6300 is it.If it' not you need to adjust the cable for the p.t.o. until it will stay down.Don't turn the turnbuckle too much at a time because there is a fine line between the won't engage and the won,t disengage adjustment.

Sad to say it may have never been a bad pto clutch but probably safety switch problem. The running tractor wants you in the seat, brake off, levers over your lap and not backing up for the PTO to stay engaged . There is two push button switches on each lever that lay over your lap ,one on the parking brake, one under the seat. All of these switch wires meet at the PTO switch and all have to agree they are in the position they need to be in to allow electricity to come down the wire to the PTO Clutch.

PTO lever engages in the wrong position in a Kubota ZD323.

Check and make sure that any links are not bent and make sure that the switch that engages the PTO is not out of adjustment.

Mower blades won't turn when PTO Lever is engaged

First, is your PTO Manual (You Throw a Large Lever) or Electric (you push a button or pull a knob) If it is manual, check the cable that it is in position and not broken or stretched. If it is electric this is not as easy. First check for a fuse and relay. The power for the PTO switch is feed through the ignition switch so check connections at the ignition and pto switch. There are safety switches involved, mainly for reverse. This is usually a plunger switch and may be stuck. Most tractors have an override button or position on the ignition switch so try with these engaged. If it works the safety swich is your problem. Beyond these simple checks now you are traveling into the realm of electrical diagnostics. Check all connections between the PTO switch, and the ignition and the PTO clutch. Still nothing, you may have a bad clutch. These are expensive and you should have a tech check it before you run out and buy.

Cub cadet Z Force 48 inch zero turn blades won't engage

I hope this will help you...under the side panels on each side of the mower, there are "reverse lockout safety switches", they are supposed to stop the blades when both handles are pulled back. If one or both of the switches are out, the deck will not engage. Also, under the right side panel (when sitting on seat) there should be 3 relay switches, the one closest to the motor controls the PTO., if this is out, the PTO will not engage.

Motor stops when the pto or cutting blades are turned on or engaged.

you most likely have a bad safety switch. there is one under your seat, one on engagement lever for blades, and probably one or two more in other places.start with the one under your seat by unplugging it and then going ahead with normale start up and implement engagement. you will have found the bad switch when everything works as it should.replace switch if you feel its necessary or just leave unplugged. it will not affect performance or longevity of the tractor

I have the same mower. The wires do need to be connected. It is a safety feature on the cubs. The engine will not start if the electric PTO is engaged. I just went into the garage, pulled the pto lever out to engage, pushed down brake, tried to start and it would not start. I suggest reattatching the wires and trying it. Hope this helps.
