Any ideas of where to get a free installation guide or wiring guide for the KSC SW1700?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You can use a computer power supply to run this sub on your home stereo system. I've got my one of these out of my car temporarily and I've hooked it up to my system to give it a bit of extra boost while it's spare! Use the yellow 12v lines of the power supply to attach to the +12v inputs and the black ground wire for the -12v. Works a treat, and even when blasting it, the power supply I use (250W) doesn't even get hot.

It looks like the S-video you need one end to be male and the other is female end.The high quality the S-video wire the better the sound.Make sure you get a long enough cord. Take it with you to radio shack or and car audio or home audio find the female end of the S-Video and it should plug in perfect.Wire it up and enjoy some tunes
