Question about Car Audio & Video
Bought a 9 year old car with a Sony CDX-GT24 in it. It won't work. How do I reset the passcode or get the passcode?

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: set time on Sony CDX-L400x
Press and hold the [DiSPLay] button (in the bottom row of black buttons
-number presets etc.- most to the right side) for a while, then the
unit should enter "Clock Set" mode.
(likely that you've found a solution by now; but i might aswell add one for others having the same problem).

There is a ribbon cable that runs all the flip panels electrics, these are prone to breakage.
I have seen some of the cables on e-bay for a few quid, and also if you google "sony x-pod ribbon cable" you will get a big choice of places to order, and get instructions on fitting.
