Something that powers up immediately, try any cooling fans or the solenoid. Easiest test is just disconnect anything non essential and turn on, if it doesnt trip, turn off, connect one thing and try againn. then connect one by one until it trips again and the last thing you plugged in will be faulty.

SOURCE: Ice maker freezing up

If it is only the fill tube that is freezing up, or getting full of ice, than your water valve is leaking (letting drops of water thru to your ice maker and filling the icemaker fill tube up and freezing). If this is the case, replace the dual water valve (part # 1071263) located in the back of the refrigerator, just follow the water line from your wall into the refrigerator. Make sure you turn off the water to the refrigerator and also unplug it. The dual water valve is the one that has two water lines, one going to the icemaker and one going to the water dispenser. On this model, I think you only have one water valve. On some you have two, the primary water valve and a secondary water valve (the dual valve). If this is your case, I would highly recommend you replace both. As far as the Refrigerator side freezing things up, I think that is a whole different issue. Please post back.

SOURCE: water line to ice maker frozen

Check to make sure that the damper between the freezer and fridge is not broken or frozen open. Make sure that you shut off the water supply to the fridge until you get this fixed because the line could crack and then you could flood the house.

SOURCE: GE GSS25LGM Ice maker

Our Ice maker quit working. Won't make ice, but will dispense water. I unplugged the refrigerator and plugged it back in. I noticed that the green light on the ice maker is now blinking. It was steady on before I unplugged the fridge. Any ideas?

Whirlpool undercounter ice maker trips breaker

If it trips the breaker either the wiring to the ice maker is shorted or the ice maker itself is shorted, do not continue to use it, there is afire hazard if you keep resetting the breaker.

Ice makers need refrigerant just like freezers and if it get too low it will quit working and probably burn itself out .call a refrigeration repair person and ask them to check it out .

Circuit breaker trips after water supply cycle

check the condensor fan in the compressor area and make sure its running if not the compressor will overheat causing high head pressures on the compressor causing it to draw too much current to operate the compressor and kick the breaker out, also make sure the condenser coils there are clean and it has ample air movement away from the wall

The power shuts down when you use the icemaker

You have one of two problems:
1. The line is overloaded and when you use the ice maker this trips the breaker. Remove items off the line to prevent this overload situation.

2. The ice maker is defective causing the line to overload cutting power. Have it serviced or replaced ASAP.

BOTH situations are fire hazards and should be resolved promptly.
1st solution above is the easiest. Other items that shut off try to move to another outlet. Especially power hungry utilities.
Electric stoves, Dish washers etc. You may wish to have a certified electrician check the circuit and the breaker.
Sometimes with age the breaker will weaken and trip much easier.
These are simple to replace but KNOW what you are doing.
Or have someone with the know how do this for you.

Good luck!
Hope this helps!

Was the unit running when it was warm? If it was then you need a tech to look at the sealed system. If it wasnt running then you need to adjust the icemaker ejector blade so its straight up (12 oclock) Thats when it will allow the compressor to come on.

Your thermostat is what advances your icemaker. You have 3 wires. When it calls for freeze then yellow(2) and blue/black(3) is closed. When that is satisfied the compressor and fan cycles off then the yellow(2) and red(1) is closed. This calls for the icemaker to advance. Red goes to icemaker, yellow is common, and blu/black is for the fan and compressor.
Hope this helps you. I would replace the thermostat

Ice maker leaks water into Ice bend. When it cycles I can watch it drip water from the ice maker.

not familuar with the brand but sounds like one of 2 issues
if it is overfilling making ice cubes larger than normal, adjust the ice maker fill time if it is possible
icemaker fills and cuts off but water valve seeps water after the fill causing the water overfill
one of the 2
