Replacement filters? I have a sharp portable air conditioner.model# cv-p09fx. I have been on hold with sharps part dept for over 30 minutes. I've searched the internet high and low. I can not find the part number or part. For replacement air filters for this unit. Sharp has just now informed me that the do not carry the part. And suggested I call a sharp authorized dealer.(makes no sense to me?) I will also try that option. I am very burnt out on ideas or options, any ideas?...

Check your filter to see if its clean, and also move your thermostat sensing bulb in front of the front cooling coil in front of your filter, this cold be a sign as weakening thermostat sensing bulb, if all else fail, replace it.Thank-you-very-much!

sounds like the unit has a low charge and is cutting out on a low press safety. This is more then likey not something you can fit yourself most of this units are not really serviceable with out cutting the lines open and adding a valve. If the unit is still somewhat new you can try for a warranty repair, if not you are better off to replace it.

not a expert just trying to help,, sounds like you have coils in the back of the unit cloged up with dust,, take outside and spray some water and clorox mixed on the coils and clead good then rinse of with water,, hope this help
