Question about Home Security
I have 3 car garage all with vemco gt200 stanley garage door openers. the middle bay was working fine by remote and by wall-mounted opener. Now it is having trouble..I have to push and hold the wall mounted button and hold it in the whole time the door is closing. it is opening fine..ie push button once and door opens. to close...have to push and hold or if you lift you finger off the button the garage stops closing and the light flashes

Check the wiring going to the sensors to make sure it is not broken or disconnected. You have a problem with the sensors themselves or the logic board. Unfortunately the only way to be sure is to replace.

That normally happens when the sensors aren't aligned. Both sensors have led lights on them the yellow/orange one will stay on all the time the green one will go out if it cant see the other sensor. Possibly theres a wire that's broken or the other sensor is really out of alignment. Check every inch of wiring from the sensor to the opener, remove wire nuts if present and check the connections. The wires that are used are small, solid and can break easily. Also see if there's a staple that's too tight, move the wire abit where it's stapled and look for damage.

Hold the button with the lock icon in for 3 seconds. This should toggle the unit off vacation mode and your remotes will work.

Check your door sensors. They have probably been bumped. Tweak them until they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not blinking.
