Question about Computers & Internet
When I installed 2GB of ram in a Satellite A45-S150. I don't get no picture on the screen. Is it to much ram? 4allmemory ran a memory test said it will take 2GB. But no picture.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The manufacturer of your hard drive will have a utility for this.
It's unusual to have to do this, so be sure it's what need to do.

Underneath your satellite there should be either a spring loaded lock to unlock/release the drive, or there could be a panel to remove that will expose a single screw that holds your optical drive in place. Releasing the drive with whichever locking mechanism is securing it should allow you to remove and install the new drive (if it's a screw, don't forget to replace it after the new drive is installed).
I hope this helps, and Good Luck.

The memory is under the keyboard on this laptop. You should be able to pry up the keyboard with a small screwdriver between the keyboard bezel and the keyboard itself.
Be very careful not to break the wires connecting the keyboard to the internals of the computer.
I hope this helps.
