Question about Televison & Video
I have a Olevia 232-T12 tv that turns on ok, and gets a clear picture for about 1 minute, then the screen gets vertical multicolored lines thru the entire screen. I replaced the tcon board but that does not remedy the problem, I am thinking it is the lvds cable. Anyone else had this problem? Also, anyone know where I can get a service manual for this tv because I need the part no. It is not on the cable. thanks much
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

It all depends on your game console.
You can connect most to the Component, Composite, or HDMI inputs.
For modern consoles, use HDMI cables or provided Composite cables.
HDMI = Single cable and single plug (Best)
Component = Red, Green, Blue, Red, and White plugs (Average)
Composite = Yellow, Red, and White plugs (Worst, used for most older consoles and older TVs)

We had this same problem as well and we finally found the answer, the code for the COX remote (silver on top black on bottom) is 1240.
