No problem. Just go to "support" on the TomTom page and then...
1) Select Your Product
2) Select Your Model
3) Define Problem -> Select "Repairs and Service"
Now do what I do. Press and hold the control ("Ctrl") key and hit the letter "F". This activates the "find" function in Internet Explorer. Now just type the word that you are looking for. In this case, type "reset" in the box and hit enter. Wha-la! Hope this helps!

Unplug your Tomtom device, batteries should be fully charged.
The tricky thing to Tomtom devices is the ROM put into the device. It needs to be reset once in awhile. The soft reset is like formatting a hard drive but leaving the system files alone. At the bottom of the device, there is a reset button. You'll need to use the end of a paperclip to reset the unit. After it's reset, reinstall the Tomtom application only by using the Tomtom Home application. Let it reset itself and come back to the original screen, then go to menu and set your preferences. Also if it's connected to Tomtom home and if you backed up your data to your computer, reinstall your maps. The only time your Tomtom device gets bogged down and won't finish a reinstall is when all 1 GB of memory is used up.
Hope this helps.
Try resetting your tomtom by inserting a paper clip through the reset hole found underneath. One quick press is all thats needed. Charge the tomtom first now and then switch on after its had a good charge.
If this doesnt work , please reply again and i'll try and help further.
Reset the unit by pushing a bent paperclip or pin into the hole on the bottom marked 'reset' turn it back on, plug it in & charge it via USB overnight or as long as you can in the car, make sure the led on the top is green, tap the bottom right of the screen & check the battery symbol on the unit says charging underneath.
If this doesn't help.
