Question about Heating & Cooling

I have a Hisense ap-05cr1suvs that, after draining and plugging it back in, has all lights come on in sequence then shuts off. Any ideas? Troubleshooting in Manual doesn't cover this

I plugged it in, after draining, and it did not beep. I pushed reset button, no beep. I held down power button for a few seconds and it started with each light coming on in sequence, as if testing system. It blew out a bit of air and shut off. I retryed it with same result. Troubleshooting in the manual doesnt mention this. Any ideas?

I have a Hisense 48H5. When I push the power button on the remote, the red light flashes and the "Hisense" name comes up on the screen. Within about 10 seconds, the tv shuts off and starts again.

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here. ..

Computer lock down

Hi mcgriff2000
Those lights on the front panel are called diagnostic lights, these help in identifying the hardware fault in the system if any.
What I have understand from your statement is that your system shuts itself down after turning 3rd light on. I mean only the third light.
the sequence of lights 1,2,3 are on.
if only the 3rd light is on it indicates that there is a possible processor failure and you need to speak to Dell Tech support and get it replaced.
If the sequence of lights on are 1,2,3, then some cable inside the system is either disconnected or not connected properly. You need to open it and reseat all the cables.
If you have some other color sequence or you wish to more details as why you are facing this issue, please look at the following link

If you wish to reseat the cables inside the system, here is a link, which will provide you complete detailed pictured details .
Step1 ) Go through the following link, Before you open the system.
Step 2) Follow the steps

Following is the link to your system's User manual.

If your issue is still not resolved, please let me know.
This solution is absolutely FREE, please rate and give positive feedback.
Thanks :)

I need to know the exact type of ac power cord for a Hisense TL2020.

To my knowledge, a Hisense TL2020 uses an IEC320C13 to NEMA 5-15P. It is the same type of AC power cord with those used by computers. Of course the plug itself would have to conform with your country's electrical code.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
