Water is pouring out the front into the b/room. What could be the cause?

Ron there is a drain hole on the bottom of unit. It is very common for the hole to become plugged with grime and sludge and sometimes just dead insects. Try clearing the drain hole and slightly pitch unit so the water drains away and toward the drain hole.

AC Model AFS85MX. has started draining from the drain hole under right side. It never drained before.

If the hole is on the outside of the house, it's not a problem. If it's on the inside around the window, that's not the drain hole. The drip pan's drain hole on the rear of the unit is clogged and water is backing up and/or the rear of the unit is not tilted down enough at the rear. 1/4" to 1/2" rear downward tilt. Which is the general rule of thumb.

Finding the rear drain hole can be a challenge at times. As the clog can blend in with the hole. Patience & persistence are needed in finding it. A pipe cleaner works well to clear the clog.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

I have a Kenmore sise by side refrig on the left (freezer side) it ices up on the bottom

the drain is blocked.slime builds up in the drain line and then the water freezes in the line, unplug the fridge, melt out all the ice at the bottom of the back panel, you'll see a drain hole there,i use a steemer to blow through the drain line,if you don't have a steemer hit the hole with the hair dryer for a while, then pour hot water into the hole,if the water doesn't drain down the hole try using a turkey baster to blow out the line,or you can try to snake something down the drain hole but be careful,it's made of plastic, when you think it's clear pour hot water down the hole again if it doesn't drain keep hitting it with the hair dryer until the water drains down the hole, sometimes it takes like an hour to free it.

Sidebyside model 20-27 freezer drain hole freezes over

turn the refrigerator off and use warm to hot water to thaw out the ice at the drain hole. the drain hole may be frozen a couple inches below the top so make sure you use enough hot water to thaw it completely out. if you have a portable air tank you can then try blowing air thru the hole. or you can take a coat hanger or similar object to try and gently dislodge the obstruction. once you have the obstruction dis lodged you should be able to freely pour water thru the hole.

Hi...you see..I have a 1990 740 turbo station wagon ...with sunroof that according to mechanic.. the rain leaks//because the sunroof's drain is clogged

This is easily fixed if it is in fact a clogged drain. Open the sunroof, and you will see a small drain hole at each of the four corners of the opening. The holes drain down through the inner body work, and the water leaks out through a bottom weep hole. Try pouring a few ounces of water down one of the holes, it should flow freely, and you will see it puddle under the car. If the drain is clogged or flows slowly, you must unclog it by blowing compressed air down the hole, or use a long flexible wire to roto-root the clog. Do this for the other three drain holes, and you should be ready for the next rainfall or car wash. While you are at it, clean out the weep holes at the bottom of the rocker panels, there are several holes on each side of the car. Good Luck.

The water is overflowing from the freezer onto refrig shelf

Yes, let the unit thaw out, and replace that thin wire. it's called a drain heater, it simply keeps the water from freezing before it gets out the drain.

GE REFRIGERATOR SPILLS OUT WATER COLLECTED BELOW VEG. BINS, HEAVY CONDENSATION ON WALLS OF REFRIG. CANT FIND A DRAIN HOLE AT BASE OF FREEZER OR FRIG.

Remove the food from the freezer . Remove the rear freezer panel , inside the freezer . At the base in the rear , use a hair dryer and defrost (you'll see a drain hole possibly in the middle of the drain ) . Defrost drain hole until hot water can be poured and go thru the hole . I use a small hose to blow thru the drain hole to remove any debris which could have accumulated inside the drain line .

Drain hole plugs with ice

this is a perpetual problem due to no drain heater being fitted. what may help is to run some pieces of copper wire from the defrost heater and have them into the drain hole. enough heat may be conducted to cure it

I purchased a LG Dehumidifier MODEL LHD45EL and I followed instructions to attach a hose to it for the drain. I removed the drain hole cover and I don't see a drain hole connector or a hole to install it...

Remove the drain bucket. on the top there are two pieces that can be removed just by taking them out. they are just laying in there. 1 is the brush the other is the "drain tube insert" it is a plastic tube and has a threaded fitting on one end. take your garden hose with a female connector on one end just like you were going to install on your spicket outside of your house and connect it to the threaded end of the "drain tube insert" make sure you knockout the round plastic drain plug cover hole located in the back of the unit (it is behind where your power cord was stored) it has three tabs to break. remove drain bucket. take the drain tube with hose attatched and insert it into the drain plug hole in the back and attach it onto the drain outlet (the drain outlet is inside the drain bucket side at the top it looks like an elbow fitting) push the tube so that the flap with the arrow is flush with the back. once you get the "drain tube insert" almost all the way flush with the back -->if you look inside the drain bucket side you will see where it fits over the drain outlet
