The vertical line is called an asymptote, it is not connecting the graph, it means that the function goes to infinity as the function nears the line. In this case the graph goes to infinity and negative infinity as the x nears 7. This is because the function becomes undefined at x = 7 , plug 7 into x and we get 1/0, dividing by zero is undefined. Thus, the calculator puts the vertical asymptote in the graph to symbolize the action of the function nearing infinity.

if what you are saying is that you have to calculate 7% monthly from 100 $ this means exactly $7 for each month ..so you have to multiply 7 for one month with 360 months and the result will be $2520 for all 360 ...unless it has some penalties to be calculated or something like that ..If the problem that you describe is accurate this is the answer..

The comma key on the TI 84 SE is above the 7 key, and it is just left of (, right of x squared, and below SIN. thats where the "," key is. If you're asking something else, please clearify. My understanding is that you don't know where the comma key is.
