Comments: Aug 03, 2009 - if it still doesnt work reset the machine by turning it off at the wall and waiting 2mins and start again. If that doesnt work the sensor may need replacing.

SOURCE: fault code 130 - fisher and paykel intuitive iw812

Hi just read your posting. Now Error Code 130 means the fault on your machine is called Single Rotor Position Sensor Error. This means the Rotor Sensor which is located on your motor is faulty or the wiring to the rotor sensor is faulty or the Control Module that reads the information from the rotor sensor is faulty. Now to test the wiring you need an electrical tester to check if the wires going to the rotor sensor are broken but unfortunately to test the Rotor Sensor you need a device called RPS tester. If you eliminate the wires as the fault, which is not too difficult, and change the rotor sensor without testing it the fault could be the Control Module.I am sorry I cant help you test the rotor sensor without an you having an RPS tester. Please reply and let me know how you would like to proceed and I can help you as much as I can .Looking forward to your reply.

What is fault code 130 and how do I fixit?

130 indicates a faulty Rotor Position Sensor (RPS) or a bad connection to the RPS. This can be a common fault on all Smart Drives. Rather than explain the the procedure you can watch this video which a kiwi guy has done on how to fix it if you are good with that sort of thing. IF you live in NZ the best deal to get a new RPS is Rotorua Appliances or search TradeMe for RPS. To watch the video click the link. Hi just read your posting.Error Code 130 means your fault is called Single Rotor Position Sensor Error. This component is attached to your motor which is underneath your machine. What concerns me is your machine is leaking.Did the Error Code appear the same time your machine started leaking? The reason I am asking this is because the water could have damaged the rotor sensor. Is the water leaking underneath the machine? Please reply with additional information and I can help you rectify this fault.
