If you were able to snap the water lines from shutoffs onto the faucet with a click, look for a small wire clip inserted into the lower/outer half of the joint. TURN OFF THE WATER, then remove the wire clip carefully and the water supply lines should come back apart. the little wire clip goes back into the slot for safekeeping till next time .

How to disconnect sprayer hose on kitchen faucet?

Turn off the water supply valves beneath the kitchen sink. Turn on the faucet and squeeze the trigger on the sprayer to empty any water left in the supply lines, faucet and sprayer.
Trace the sprayer hose from the end of the sprayer to where it connects to the faucet. Use pliers to loosen the connector holding the sprayer hose to the faucet.
Remove the sprayer hose from the faucet to expose the male threads. Wipe the threads dry with a towel. Wrap the threads with pipe-joint tape. Twist a 3/8-inch threaded brass flair cap onto the male threads. Use the pliers to tighten the cap.
Reach beneath the sink and loosen the mounting nut securing the sprayer support to the sink or countertop. Use a basin wrench if you are unable to reach the mounting nut with your hand.
Slide the mounting nut off the hose attached to the sprayer beneath the sink. Pull the sprayer support and the sprayer from the hole in the sink or countertop.
Insert a sink hole cover into the hole left by the sprayer. Depending on the style of hole cover, it could snap in, or a mounting nut could hold it in place.

Things You Will Need
  • Pliers
  • Towel
  • Pipe-joint tape
  • 3/8-inch threaded brass flair cap
  • Basin wrench
  • Sink hole cover

Brand new kohler cruette. attached cold and hot water fine. when snapping in the pull out faucet hose it sprays all over under the sink

Hi rysenga, the problem is an omission of directions. The section 9 directions are the worst offender and left me never again to purchase a Kohler product. First, this connection for the pull out hose to the outlet fitting should have been a screw on connection. Should have been. Ok it was not, I'll get over it. But the directions never mention having to install the white plastic bushing. Not at all. Nor does it mention that the bushing should be put on the outlet first and then push the hose connection in. This omission is a huge one, but should help anyone else reading this complete the install. Find the oval lip white bushing and install this first on the body, and then just push the connector in. Done.

How do I remove the spray hose from the brass connector under the sink?

Hi,
On the side of the brass there should be a clip or a pin that you can pop off... a knife or screw driver will work to snap it out of there... then the hose will just pull down out of the fitting...

I have a Kohler Forte Single handle faucet, and I'm seeing leaking down below the sink in the cabinet. I tried reconnecting the Kohler piece to where the water comes out, but now it's even worse. It looks...

Turn off your water supply to the sink the disconnect the supply lines to the faucet. Reconnect supply lines making sure to use plumbers pipe joint compound of teflon tape. I've found teflon tape to be better. When installing the supply lines make sure that the threads aren't crossed and the retaining nut is snug.

Grohe ladylux plus kitchen faucet leaks from multiple points along metal pull out hose attached to faucet head. Is this fixed by replacement of same hose? How do I replace the hose?

Yes,it sounds like you have to replace the hose.Follow the braided hose under your sink until you come across a yellow and black fitting . it is comparable to an air hose fitting quick disconnection. once that is pulled from the sink port, unscrew the spray head and pull the ose through the faucet body from above the sink

Grohe faucet handle doesn't retract

Ok well that is probably the install then.  there is a brass ring under the sink that is holding the faucet tight to the sink.  this has 2 water lines that feed the faucet and the line to your spout.  if the copper lines are not pushed apart enough than it will rub one the line with the weight and make it hard to move up and down. you need to get under it with a flash light and move these lines apart.  The worst  would be that when the faucet was installed the hole was not big enough and that is what it is hitting.  So I hope this help you .

The pull out faucet is loose, wobbly, won't stay attached.

Make sure that there is a weighted ball connected about halfway down the retracting hose. If not you need to go to a supply house and purchase one and its a simple install. However if there is one attached you can loosen the 2 screws and slide it up closer to faucett but not so far that you can't pull out the sprayer as far as you need. Also make sure nothing is obstructing it under the sink. bottles, cleaners, etc.
