What is this connector for? My used BMW has been hacked to I peices and I would like to install an aftermarket stereo
Hi, i have the same problem with my nissan primera... its and 04 reg tho, has anyone managed to fix theirs?
i changed the radio and now the screen says SECURE with an orange background, i cant figure out how to put in the code to save my life. any help.
if the background is green its an electronic fault

BMW do not make radios .They only affix their badge onto radios made by the large manufacturers (ALPINE , BLAUPUNKT etc).
So the radio will have to be identified , usually by removing it from the dashboard.

Then please POST ANOTHER QUESTION quoting your radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the NUMBERS+LETTERS on ANY LABELS , BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING
