64 GB X .8 about 51.2 GB. If the card says it's unreadable then the file table is probably corrupt. You will need to format the card.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Why is it not working and unable to read SD?

Try putting your SD into your PC or laptop to see if it is readable there. If not then a bad SD card and may need to reformat it. If it is readable there may only be certain models f SD cards that this stereo can read.

I installed a 64GB sd card in my Digiland DL700 tablet, and it now says I have over 62.GB remaining space. However I tried downloading something, and it tells me I have insufficient space.

Dear Rebecca,
64G is not recommended for use in any Device unless it is a Brand Name. Beside if anything goes wrong, you will loose all your data. Keep backing in it onto a portable drive if possible.
As far as your tablet you need to change the settings so that your downloads are stored on the SD card. Please refer to the documentation that came with your tablet or call the customer Support or online at the manufacturer website. Here is a reference manual. Hope it will help,
Good Luck,
JP

Sd card reader doesnt seem to work

I had the same problem as you describe on my Medion P6611 laptop (and on a previous Medion desktop that was, sadly, stolen from my apartment in early December. But I digress...) I called Medion tech support (which I have never found to be anything less than excellent), and the representative said:

The problem *may* be due to a buildup of static electricity, either on the card itself or in the card reader (I forget which it is). To fix it, do the following:

  • Tturn off your computer, remove the battery and unplug the AC power adapter from the laptop if it's also attached.
  • Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds or so. (This discharges the electricity from some internal component[s]--capacitors, perhaps?)
  • Replace the battery, reconnect the AC adapter (if you use it) and turn on the computer.
With any luck, that should fix your problem.

P.S. One slightly related tip: When you remove a card from the card reader, just remove it. There's no need to click on "Safely remove hardware" and select the card reader's drive letter. If you do, it won't recognize cards again until you reboot or turn the machine off and back on. Different problem, but same behavior.
