Hi
I got a MTKBT Device GT-N7100 with IMEI: 355659068640425
I try to download whatsapp but it keeps saying "unsupported file" I also tried to get wap settings from my service operator VodaCom south africa but it keeps saying UNKNOWN DEVICE is there anything I can do
Basically what you need are
IP address - ask MTN.
Proxy Port setting enabled/disabled. Ask MTN.
Proxy Port number. Ask MTN.
APN. Ask MTN.
All these are service provider specific and hence I have asked you to ask MTN.
Other settings can be anything.
Also you have to get GPRS activated on your mobile number. Ask MTN again.
When you have all this inf, then set it up and happy surfing.

Step 1: The very first solution to your problem is to restore it locally by UNINSTALLING the WhatsApp Application on your device.
Step 2: REINSTALL it again.
Step 3: SIGN IN YOUR ACCOUNT in the newly installed application. Then, you will be prompted with a message that says, you are able to restore your backup after reinstalling the application on your device.
Step 4: All you need is to press RESTORE and your problem will be gone. But you need to keep in mind that the backup for your WhatsApp history is only valid for 7 days and after a week, it will be gone and you will not be able to locally solve the problem.
OPTION 2: Retrieving Deleted WhatsApp Messages by A Data Recovery Software
Step 1: CONNECT YOUR MOBILE TO YOUR COMPUTER WITH A USB CABLE Step 2: ENABLE USB DEBUGGING THROUGH SETTING UP YOUR MOBILE PHONE Step 3: Choose the mode according to the operating system. Like this: android 2.3 or earlier, enter SETTINGS and click APPLICATIONS then click DEVELOPMENT and tick USB DEBUGGING Step 4: Next step that you should take is: SCAN AND ANALYZE THE DATA ON YOUR MOBILE.
Step 5: Lastly, you have to TAKE A LOOK AND RECOVER FILES FROM WHATSAPP HISTORY.
Problems with whatsappp can be fix by rebooting the phone but if not it
is necessary to uninstall and reinstall it to get it work but if not
kindly refer to system configuration required by whats app in this

Samsung mobile phone not entirely support .JAR 1.for some cases, eg.the game display did not support with your handheld. 2.samsung prefer transfer game via their own mobile suite ( download the application via www.samsung.com/support/application ) 3.samsung also prefer transfer file or game via bluetooth ( 70% worked ) than copy-paste to its memory card. 4.Download game or application for samsung on this site >>> www.getjar.com >>> choose your brands
1. U have a firmware that has locked java install, it's not that the apps are not susported it's just locked. The solution is easy, but needed a little of work first u need an java app like Bluetooth File Transfer or MiniCommander(i recommend it).
Download it from net host it on a wap server and download it from the wap. after u will install it run the app if u have the jar file create a jad from MiniCommander File->create jad or use Jadmaker then copy the files to your filesystem folder go to admin menu *#6984125*#>Internals>*#9072641*#>Storage settings>Update Java DB and its done it's installed without installing new firmware ;)
Maybe? Videos that play on your PC may not be supported on your device. If this is so your device will either say file not recognized or unsupported file, or just not play.Even if it supports AVI files they may not play due to unsupported size, bit rate, codex.Did the player come with a file converter? try converting a small file and try to load it,play it.Good Luck
Samsung GT S3310 is a type of JAVA phone that support application with extension .jar or .jad. Because the phone resolution is 240x320 so u can download any application or game with resolution 240x320 into your phone and install it. Try to search it around the net.
