Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: KINGSTON FLASH DRIVE NOT RECOGNISED BY MY MAC

The drive letter of your Kingston flash drive is already used by another storage device. You may need to change the drive letter of your flash drive by going to the disk management.

SOURCE: My computer won't recognise my 4gb kingston

Try the stick in a different USB port on your computer.

Try the stick in some other computer.

If it does not work, it could be defective -- take it back to where you bought it, and get them to demonstrate that it works in one of their computers, or get them to replace it.

I think you will find that the card works fine but your computer doesnt recognise the card reader properly. Windows 98 does not properly recognise most usb devices but Windows 98SE does although I am not sure if it will recognise usb2 properly.
