a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Try Manycam and see if it works with Unbuntu. Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "download cnet" (without the quotes) and go to their site. Look down on the left and you will see a gray box that says find software. Type in: "Manycam" (without the quotes) and go download and install it. It's absolutely free, no trial period and it comes with application and I think driver. Give it a try. Be sure not to accept any buggy stuff that it will ask you during the install.

SOURCE: EliteBook 6930p laptop running Window 7. Problem is the intergrated webcams works for Skype, but how do I use the webcam to record other videos outside of Skype? I don't see the webcam showing up
What program came with the laptop to operate the webcam? HP sometimes uses CyberLink. I don't know what came with your machine.
